Science, Environment, and Action
As return to in-person learning continues to be a challenge, there is still a need for digital content to continue to provide educational resources that prioritize student-centered, active, hands-on experiences. Heal the Bay’s new interactive educational program provides marine biology and environmental science curriculum in a digital format that follows the learning cycle and supports Next Generation Science Standards.
SEA Education is designed with both the students and educators in mind, providing flexible learning opportunities.
Aligns with Next Generation Science Standards, Ocean Literacy Principles, and International Society for Technology in Education Standards
Accommodates multiple learning styles, including observation, art, lecture, journaling, reflection, various modes of assessment
Includes hands-on activities to be done on or off screen, that can be completed using everyday, classroom or household items (i.e. scissors, paper, pencil, water, bowl, etc.)
Brings the ocean, beaches, and aquarium to students virtually to teach marine and environmental science, and brings students to nature right outside their windows and doors
Provides easy-to-use lessons created by a unique team of scientists, specialists, educators, and environmental experts
